Optic Store - encapsulated in wood
Brussels, 1989-1990

Our first assignment.
We were asked to add an optic store to a pharmacy and this in the smallest of rooms 4.20x4.20m. We saw the shop as one piece of furniture - a wooden capsule.
An oculus, vistas on central axes (extended by mirrors) leave a sense of the existing white structure.
Within this 'precious' context we could raise the value of the merchandise.
Show cases, comparable with the drawers in a box of silver ware, roll out of the wall one by one in a categorical manner. Doing so, much more glasses could be stocked on a limited space.
