The existing building is conceived as a huge container. The lower half is used for storing merchandize, the upper half is occupied by office space: more office space is required which can be fit into a more articulate extension.
A problem is the giant water tank on top of the building. Behind it there is just enough space for mounting platforms. These can work as giant trusses that are able to sustain a two slabs high steel structure that will cantilever over the water basin and further. A lightweight glass box is contrasted against the concrete of the existing skyscraper. We have deformed the glass box to yield more stiffness. [...]Nerves will direct hidden structure.
